Rare Slant Arm L.& J.G. Stickley slant arm Morris chair with slats to the floor and thru tenons. This form seldom appears on the market and was one of their premium Morris chairs, arguably second only to their bow arm Morris chair with slats. The extra labor and materials required to make this larger chair with slant arms, extra long slats and the multiple thru-tenons made it a more expensive chair during the period than their other Morris chairs and fewer were purchased due to the price.
